Articles : Analysis of the Correlation Coefficients among DOMS, CK, ALD and LDH after an Eccentric Exercise Bout
Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to analyze the correlation coefficients among DOMS, CK, ALD and LDH after an eccentric exercise bout. 15 college students participated in this study as subjects. CK, ALD, LDH and soreness were measured for 72hours after an eccentric exercise bout (bench stepping 15 steps/min for 60min). The results were as follows. 1. There were significant changes in CK after bench stepping. 2. There was no significant change in ALD. 3. There were significant changes in LDH and soreness after bench stepping. 4. There were positive correlation coefficients between ALD and LDH at 0hr, 2hr and 72hr after bench stepping. 5. There was positive correlation coefficient between ADL and CK at 72hr after bench stepping.
